01 About us

CreteVisualArtsAssociation is a collective body, an administratively and financially independent organization that embraces diverse approaches and draws strength from the wealth of artistic perspectives of its members. It was founded in 2025 to serve as a hub of ideas, a springboard for action aimed at fostering the development of the visual arts and promoting culture in Crete and beyond.

In a time of challenges, with collectivity as the driving force for growth and the principles of creating and defending freedom of thought, speech, and expression, guided by Art, our association seeks to build meaningful bridges of communication and development within the cultural landscape, contributing to the formation of a fruitful dialogue, collaborations, and synergies.
